Kildare 2024 Farm Tours
Macra Agricultural Skillnet are delighted to support the farm tours at the 2024 Macra Rally hosted by Kildare Macra.
Please note that the tour registration will be open from 9.30 am in Lawlor's Hotel on Saturday 26th October. Buses will depart at 10 am sharp.

Visit dairy farm Castlefarm which is run by Peter and Jenny Young, and Brian Fitzpatrick. This tour will focus on succession planning, sustainability and herd health. |

Take a tour around Belan Farm which is run by Thomas O'Connor. Thomas was the 2015 FBD Young Beef Farmer of the Year and Chairperson of Kildare IFA from 2020 - 2024. This farm tour will focus on family farm partnership, beef finishing systems, forage crops and early lambing systems. |
